We store and process personal data in accordance with applicable legislation, in particular with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (the “EU Regulation”). Data is stored securely, to the extent and for the duration necessary to ensure the related activities.
What personal data do we store and process?
We store personal data based on your interest in receiving information from Fortna, your registration for an event, or your donation.
We store contact details of those interested in receiving news from Fortna based on consent expressed by submitting a form on the website www.fortna.eu or via an email request. We process the name, contact email, and information about the correspondence.
For event participants, we store data provided in the registration form for a specific event—name, surname, phone number, email, and payment details—based on the consent included in the registration form.
For accommodated guests, we store data in accordance with applicable legislation: name, surname, residence, date of birth, personal ID number and type, and dates of arrival and departure. For foreign nationals, we also store citizenship and reason for stay in the Czech Republic.
For donors, we store personal data provided at the time of the donation. Some data must be retained due to legal obligations (particularly the Accounting Act and tax laws); other data is stored based on donor consent. For donors, we process information such as name, surname, email, donation amount, date, and method of donation (cash or non-cash). If the donor requests a donation receipt, we also process their residence and date of birth.
Our website stores some browsing information (so-called cookies). On fortna.eu, we use cookies necessary for the website’s proper technical functionality and for statistical analysis of web traffic via Google Analytics. We do not use cookies for advertising or to identify individual users.
What do we use personal data for and who has access?

Data is used to inform you about Fortna’s program and to communicate with event participants. Personal data is also used for purposes required by law (especially accounting records). Authorized team members (event coordinators, accountants, and instructors) have access to personal data to the necessary extent.
We do not share your personal data with any third parties.
